Gun-control group secures $350,000 grant

"The state's largest gun control group, CeaseFirePA, is getting a $350,000 grant to strengthen its advocacy efforts statewide.

The Chicago-based Joyce Foundation is granting the organization the money over two years to aid its bid to build a statewide, grass-roots response to gun violence, CeaseFirePA's executive director Joe Grace said."

"We are extremely pleased to be partnering with the NRA on this special project Mini-14 to support the Institute for Legislative Action," said Ruger President Stephen L. Sanetti. "It is very important that we, as an industry and as individuals, support the efforts of the ILA as they work to protect our Second Amendment rights. A portion of the sales from each rifle will go to the NRA-ILA to support their ongoing efforts.
